Origami

Valley fold, mountain fold, rabbit ear, rotate, wrap, sink...

In the 50s, Akira Yoshizawa (1911 - 2005) developed the current international folding "language"; a system of symbols and terms for explaining folding steps. Today there's a plethora of folding instructions in books, magazines, apps and the world wide web.

On these pages we present a selection of diagrams, German authors as well as articles about origami and its history. Our society members may also make use of our library.
